Protonuraghi del Campidano centro-orientale

Abstract

In questo contributo si da conto delle testimonianze monumentali (i protonuraghi) relative al periodo Nuragico arcaico presenti nei territori comunali di Furtei, Nuraminis, Samassi, Samatzai, Seddori/Sanluri e Serrenti, situati nel Campidanu centro-orientale, nella maggior parte dei casi molto degradate e di difficile lettura planimetrica. Mancano per questa fase chiare testimonianze materiali connesse all’ambito funerario, mentre gli abitati risultano strettamente connessi agli edifici megalitici. Si formulano inoltre alcune considerazioni sul rapporto di tali evidenze con il territorio e sulla loro funzione.

In this contribution we talk about the monumental evidence (the protonuraghi) relating to the archaic Nuragic period present in the municipalities of Furtei, Nuraminis, Samassi, Samatzai, Seddori/Sanluri and Serrenti, located in east-central Campidanu, in most cases very degraded and with plans difficult to read. Lacking clear evidence for this phase materials related to the funerary scope, while the towns are closely linked to the megalithic buildings. We also formulate some remarks on the relationship of these findings with the territory and their function.
