Nota I di scavo della Tomba Nuova Ovest e della Tomba XVIII di Sas Concas di Oniferi (Nuoro)

Abstract

La nota è riferita allo scavo archeologico della Tomba Nuova Ovest e al rinettamento della Tomba XVIII della necropoli ipogeica di Sas Concas di Oniferi, effettuati dallo scrivente nell’ottobre 1972. La Tomba Nuova Ovest è distinta per i dati stratigrafici emersi nel dromos di accesso e nell’anticella e per la presenza dei dati cultuali attestati nell’anticella (petroglifi umani schematici a testa in giù in associazione con coppelle e con fossette per offerte). La successione stratigrafica attestata nella Tomba Nuova Ovest documenta la presenza di reperti dell’Eneolitico, della Prima Età del Bronzo di cultura campaniforne e Bonnanaro, e del Bronzo Medio, Recente e Finale; sono presenti forse anche elementi del Neolitico Medio. La Tomba XVIII, svuotata ab antiquo tempore, ha restituito molti fittili nuragici miniaturistici.

This work reports on the archaeological excavation of the New West Tomb and the cleaning of the Tomb XVIII belonging to the hypogeic necropolis of Sas Concas at Oniferi, which was carried out in October 1972. The New West Tomb is characterized by the stratigraphic data obtained in the access dromos and the antechamber. The presence of religious signs in the antechamber (schematic human petroglyphs upside down in association with dimples and hollows for offerings) is also meaningful. The stratigraphic sequence found in the New West Tomb shows the presence of finds of the Eneolithic, the Early Bronze Age (Bell Beaker and Bonnanaro cultures), the Middle, Late and Final Bronze Age, and perhaps also of the Middle Neolithic. The Tomb XVIII, emptied ab antiquo tempore, yielded many nuragic miniature vases.
